Enjoy a day of marine sports with your family at Sennan Satoumi Park! SUP, tandem bicycles, and playground equipment.

Located at the southernmost tip of Osaka Prefecture, Misaki Town is blessed with ocean and greenery overlooking Awaji Island. Sennan Satoumi Park, which stretches along the town's coastline, is a popular spot for swimming and marine sports, and is also known as a mecca for beach volleyball. This time, outdoor-loving parent-child influencers NORI & ICHINA will be spending the day having fun.

Misaki Town, located at the southernmost tip of Osaka Prefecture, is a town blessed with tourist resources that utilize its beaches and port areas. Among these, Sennan Satoumi Park, adjacent to Pichi Pichi Beach and Tokimeki Beach, is popular as a facility where you can enjoy swimming, marine sports, and giant athletic play equipment. It is also famous for being the only permanent beach volleyball stadium in Japan with spectator seating, Shiosai Bibare.

This seaside park, which offers a panoramic view of Osaka Bay, is full of play areas that children will love, including a vast sandy beach and a playground. NORI & ICHINA, popular influencers known for their parent-child coordination, who live nearby and often come to play by car, will introduce the charms of Sennan Satoumi Park.

In addition to two permanent courts, the facility is also equipped with showers and locker rooms.

The management office located inside Shiosai Valley has a wide range of outdoor sports equipment available for rental, so you can come and enjoy the activity empty-handed.

Beach rally! Exciting volleyball for parents and children

Volleyball court

While you must make a reservation to use the volleyball courts at Shiosai Valley, there are also eight beach volleyball courts on the beach that are open to the public. This time, let's rent a volleyball and have some fun.

The first parent-child rally looks like a lot of fun. It's a great memory.

ICHINA loves the sea, so we live in Sennan City and often come to Sennan Satoumi Park. It's easily accessible by car or train.

Even beginners and those who can't swim can enjoy it.

Next, we tried SUP. SUP is an abbreviation for "Stand Up Paddleboard." It's a marine sport where you stand on a special board and paddle across the water, making it easy to enjoy even for beginners and those who can't swim.

He usually brings his own board, but his pump was broken so he rented a board this time.

Change at the management office and get ready to go! You can also rent the required life jackets and helmets.

"Okay, let's go now!" "Dad, the sea is warm!" "Let's see... (puts his foot in) ICHINA, you're kidding, it's a little cold!"

"Dad, there's a plane flying!" You can see planes across the sea. The hotel is located close to Kansai International Airport, the international gateway to the Kansai region. What a beautiful view! Apparently, you can even see Awaji Island on a clear day.

After SUP, you can return to the management office and take a shower.

We rented a board today, but I actually bring my own board and come to Sennan Satoumi Park on a regular basis. ICHINA loves the ocean, so we wondered if there was a way we could have fun together, and that's why we started SUP.

Two people riding a tandem bicycle in perfect harmony

Parent and child riding a tandem bicycle

Among the rental items available are tandem bicycles for two people.

Tandem bicycles are bicycles in which multiple people ride side by side, one in front and one behind, and move simultaneously. Because two people pedal together, even those with visual impairments or those who are not confident in their physical strength can enjoy the exhilaration of riding through the air with their passengers. Tandem bicycles can be used without a reservation. Helmets are also available for rental.

Pedalling by two people together makes it easier to go faster than a regular bicycle, and it is used for a wide range of purposes, including sports, recreation, and transportation. This time we will be riding along the seaside. ICHINA says she is still practicing cycling. Will she be able to ride well?

Before I knew it, he was smiling and saying, "Yahoo! Cycling is fun!"

Tandem means "working together." Working together in such a pleasant location is sure to deepen the bond between parent and child.

This was my third time riding a tandem bicycle at Sennan Satoumi Park. I can't ride a bicycle yet, so I was very scared at first, but by the end I was having fun. Maybe if I keep practicing like this, I'll be able to ride a bicycle easily?

Dolphin Amusement Park

Next, we went to the children's playground (Dolphin Amusement Park), where children can play on dolphin-themed play equipment. Dolphin Amusement Park has a long roller slide and a two-story combination playground where children can enjoy various activities, making it very popular with children!

The only downside to this fun spot might be that your kids might be reluctant to leave.

About a 10-minute walk east, you will find Octopus Park, which has octopus-themed slides, Tarzan ropes, swings, and other play equipment.

I had a lot of fun all day today. Osaka is full of nature and there are lots of different activities to enjoy, like beach volleyball, SUP, and cycling!

Many people may have an image of Osaka as a city, but it's actually a city blessed with great access to nature. I think it's a great environment for raising children. Please come and visit us.

Enjoy marine sports with your family

parent and child

And before we knew it, it was 5pm. It was almost time to go home, but ICHINA still wanted to play. Misaki Town is rich in nature. What did you think of Sennan Satoumi Park, facing Osaka Bay? Being in contact with nature can also deepen family bonds. If you're interested in marine sports, why not start at Sennan Satoumi Park?
